Grand Mayan Riviera Maya, Mexico
10,500 eXpectations Points, 9th May 2014, Hotel Unit Sleeps 2
Where to stay this week in Mexico had us completely stumped. There is quite simply some fantastic choice to be had in Mexico and the resorts are generally of a very high standard. What calls for a little more consideration however is that since the resorts are catering for a predominantly North-American audience, many operate a mandatory all-inclusive policy for which there is an additional fee. So, weighing up the value of each one, looking at what is included and reading reviews etc can take a little bit more time to be happy you’re getting the very best holiday to suit you. There are some great deals to be had, some of the offers through RCI saw savings of £500+ on just one weeks holiday when comparing like-for-like with packages available online. However, to keep things simple and straight forward we’ve opted to stay at a The Grand Mayan Riviera Maya which does not operate a mandatory all-inclusive package.
