For those seeking some action get into the swing of things on the squash court, while the indoor pool is ideal for swimming in the shade. Work up a sweat in the newly-refurbished gym and should you require it a personal fitness trainer is ready to assist. With direct access to the beach, guests can experience diving and snorkelling, have fun water skiing, and windsurfing or hire a bicycle to explore the area. Enjoy an aperitif in the Lobby Bar and Chillout Lounge before savouring delicious meals and light snacks in the restaurant. For those wanting to dine in the privacy of their apartment guests can pick up groceries from the mini-market for self-catering purposes.

Qawra is a quiet resort with scenic views of St Paul’s Bay, making it an ideal destination for those seeking to relax or enjoy water sports. Along the rocky coastline, visitors can enjoy a stroll along the beautiful seafront promenade stretching to the nearby busy town of Bugibba and the old town of St Paul’s Bay.

Things to do

Visit Ta’Fr Ben Bay at Qawra Point to enjoy sunbathing and snorkelling in clear waters, take a break from the mid-day sun with a cool drink and light snack in the restaurant with tranquil sea views. Overlooking the bay, the historical Qawra Tower built by the “Knights of Malta” in 1637 is a strong reminder of Malta’s long, rich history.

Wherever you go in Malta there are plenty of things to do, such as the Classic Car Collection Museum, voted Travellers Choice 2017 by TripAdvisor. Step back in time and admire over 100 classic cars and motorbikes that have been restored to pristine condition. Marvel at the exquisite paintwork and leather interior of the traditional Spitfires, 1955 Jaguar, and the tiny 1972 Fiat 500F. For the older generation, the experience will feel like walking down “memory lane” and total fascination to the younger ones.

For a true sense of the island’s rich history and culture visit the beautiful 16th Century capital city, Valletta with its extraordinary architecture, including St John’s Cathedral and the pre-historic Hagar Qim Temple, dating 3,600 B.C. Wander the narrow streets to browse the boutiques before heading to the historical waterfront lined with many chic restaurants and quaint cafes looking across the harbour. Jump on a boat to cruise around the cities peninsula for panoramic views of this majestic city.

Discover over 7,000 years of fascinating history at the old capital city, Mdina with an audio show giving an insight of the trials and triumphs of this medieval city. Meander the walled city admiring the beautiful facades and spectacular views of the neighbouring island, Gozo.

Malta has a rugged coastline but still has a few sandy beaches, the most popular beaches to visit are the Blue Flag awarded Mellieha Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha and Golden Bay. Fancy swimming in clear azure waters? Take a boat trip to the tiny island of Comino to visit the famous Blue Lagoon or head to Gozo island to sunbathe on the red sands of Ramla l-Hamra beach.
