Exploring Dorset

The English Heritage Hurst Castle is less than 4-miles from Elmers Court and is recognised as a site of Special Scientific Interest. The Castle and Fortress were built to defend the west side of the Solent, however today, it attracts many visitors to admire the beautiful views and fascinating history. For those wishing to explore the natural beauty of the surrounding river and salt marshes, try a gentle 2-hour paddle-board excursion from nearby Keyhaven to Hurst Castle on Friday, 11th August 2017, between 09.00am – 16.00pm.

Lymington Railway Station is less than 2-miles from MacDonald’s Elmers Court Resort, enabling visitors to explore different areas of Hampshire or visit the nearby towns of Southampton for a spot of shopping. Take a memorable day out at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard wandering around the mesmerising collection of historical warships. Spot the most famous HMS Victory, step aboard Lord Nelson’s admirable vessel to visualise the Battle of Trafalgar and witness the beauty of King Henry VIII’s favourite warship, the Mary Rose. When searching for a price comparison, a 2-bedroom unit was unavailable to book during our chosen dates, although the comparison website did show that one had previously been booked during those dates for £1,458. We have used this booking to compare against our price. 7-nights at MacDonald’s Elmers Court were available on during 5th – 12th August 2017 within a 2-bedroom apartment (sleeping 6) for £1,458 (based on 6 people sharing when we looked on 27/6/2017).

In comparison, we found this 7-night RCI Extra Holiday at MacDonald’s Elmers Court during the same dates also within a 2-bedroom apartment (sleeping 6) for just £829 on (when we looked on: 27/6/2017).
